Dandy is a very talented dog who excels in Agility as well as Flyball. He is extremely athletic, responsive & biddable. He is ambitious & driven, but has a good sense of self-preservation. With a soft nature that is balanced with resilience, focus and a desire to please, he is an absolute joy to train. Like his father Token, Dandy is an outstanding, stable companion who loves people, is good with children, loves to work & play, and has no phobias over noise or environment. In May 2012, Dandy was a "Loaner Dog" for Team Australia, competing at the 2012 IFCS World Agility Championship in Fort Worth, TX. Dandy & his handler Natalie Kirkwood had a very successful competition, finishing in 4th place in the Individual All-Around. Natalie developed a wonderful relationship with Dandy in a matter of days that resulted in great teamwork. Read the full story HERE on my blog. In April 2013, Natalie came to the USA again and ran Dandy at the IFCS Continental Championship of the Americas in Fort Worth, Texas, where they won a Bronze Medal in Biathlon. In April/May 2014, Dandy & I flew to Europe where Natalie ran Dandy in both the IFCS World Agility Championship in The Netherlands AND the World Agility Open in Lignano, Italy. They were in the top 25% in all events, a fantastic result overall. Dandy was a great travel companion spending 3 1/2 weeks in Europe, including planes, trains and a Gondola! He handled it all like a pro! The adventure of a lifetime! |
